The course will be self-paced. There will be an educational component that can be completed in as few as 90-days, then students will transition into a mock residency portion of the program in which they are able to take on mock clients with oversight from our medical team.

The final exam will be online and is not proctored.

 Students will have access to a lab order service partnership with Kale to ensure legal compliance. Access includes their own portal for ordering labs at wholesale prices. Additional fees are minimal—$20 per lab, plus a low hourly rate for oversight or review if needed. This partnership allows practitioners to order nearly any functional lab at the lowest possible price. These additional fees are built into the client’s pricing, so they won't come out of the practitioner's pocket. Practitioners are encouraged to charge 1.5-2 times what they spend on labs, fees, and review costs.

Yes, we are accepting 50 students for this round of the program and we do expect that these spots will fill up quickly!

You will be a Certified Nutritional Practitioner (CN-P). This credential will not provide licensure.

Yes! We encourage you to work with your own clients during the residency! However, if you do not have your own clients, we will be providing many case studies throughout the residency so you’ll be able to learn and gain experience whether you have your own clients or not.

No, you do not have to have a following on social media to gain clients! 

The final day to sign up for Cohort 4 will be August 1st.

Each student will move at a different pace, but the estimated time is between 5-8 hours per module (real hours, not academia hours).

Students will take quizzes, a proctored exam, and complete a final thesis. Feedback is provided by course leaders, and there is an extended, ongoing mock residency that allows students to practice new skills.

Instructor feedback, support session Zoom calls with a course instructor, and instructional videos within each module are provided during the course.

With our program, you receive one free oversight session per month. Oversight grants you increased client support capabilities without needing a license. Using a partnered lab solutions company, you will order labs for clients at a standard cost of $20 per order (+wholesale cost of lab). The oversight fee covers lab review with clinical presentation at a rate of $45 per hour, although the review typically lasts around 10 minutes. We strive to keep oversight affordable, setting our rate at $45 per hour, which is lower than what other programs charge. 

We do not include extra oversight because of the high volume of clients students may have. For example, a single student might have 80 clients, making it impractical for us to offer oversight for all of them. This challenge is compounded when considering the collective client load of all 50+ students in a cohort.

You can operate as a CN-P in any state, you just will want to be mindful of your state's specific laws.
States vary in their requirements for licensure for those providing nutritional guidance. The majority of states allow CN-Ps to establish their own practice, but some states require additional licensure or working under the supervision of a licensed practitioner. For grants and scholarships, we recommend sharing your request with an advanced search engine like chatGPT to streamline your search. By explaining your situation, you can connect with the appropriate contact person who can assist you further. An example of an approved scholarship/grant may be through a program like VA. Rest assured, we are ready to approve any documents that require a signature to facilitate the process for you.

Case studies will be an observational review and will likely require around 5 hours per month which is a total of 60 hours over the course of a year.

The CN-P program is designed to help registered dietitians gain more confidence with functional lab testing. It provides comprehensive training that complements your existing knowledge, allowing you to offer more holistic and effective care to your clients.

No, maintaining your licensure is helpful. It provides a safety net and allows you to work with clients freely and make recommendations legally and independently.

As a registered dietitian with a strong educational foundation, you may not feel the need for additional clinical oversight. However, the program does offer options for clinical oversight if you prefer to have that support.

While you can operate in an unlicensed manner, it is advisable to maintain your licensure to avoid any legal issues. Licensure is particularly important for insurance purposes and to ensure compliance with state regulations.

Yes, many registered dietitians complete non-licensure programs to fill gaps in their education and enhance their practice.
